Just banked my beloved week 24 at Cold Spring. Sigh.

I did it. I banked the week that I never, ever, EVER bank. We always go there...every. single. year. I was afraid that if I waited, the resort's closure might extend, and I wouldn't be able to do anything with my week. I am in mourning. :(

Yes, I know that keeping my family safe is the foremost concern. Just let me wallow for a little while, folks, and I'll get up and dust off and be fine.

I guess the good news is that it gets 26 TPUs, which isn't bad for New England. And the deposit restore was only $69, which put the TPUs back from 21-26.

Between this and zooming with my school kids all day, it is most definitely time for some chocolate..... :)
 
Nothing wrong with a little wallowing. You've got a whole weekend ahead to wallow. You may even consider pulling out a nice bottle of Cab Sauvignon to go with that chocolate, snuggle in on the couch, and watch Casablanca and bawl your eyes out when this scene comes up. Nothing like a good cry to cleanse the soul.

My weekend will be spent working at Target. No time for wallowing, which is probably best. :)

Wow! A first! I think it was a good decision, though. This too shall pass and you will be back there again eventually. Plus you are good at the exchange game so you will get great use from those TPU's.

Hope all is going well at home. This has been a hard year for you. Stay safe.

I am in the same situation as you. About to cancel my Chetola weeks in June. My favorite.
