I've just done an online banking transaction for 2015 Points. Going through the motions all of the related pages on my-vacationclub.com as well as the confirmation email indicate that the Points have been banked from the 2015 Use Year "To Use Year 2016." The only place that indicates my applicable extended usage period (two years for Chairman's Club status) is the "Vacation Club Points Summary" box and only after the transaction.
I'm not worried that the banked Points won't be able to be used during the extended usage period but this is the kind of thing that makes me bonkers - the website should give owners correct information throughout all processes.
I'm going to bring this to MVW's attention and would like to know if the same thing is happening for Presidential Members, if you're also not seeing the correct 18-month usage period of banked Points on my-vacationclub.com until after the transaction is confirmed? If any of you have bankable Points can you please take a look at your account, go through the motions without actually banking anything and let me know what you're seeing? Thanks!
