Do you mean Waimea Falls? It's on Oahu. There's also one on Kauai.

Or Wailua Falls? That's also on Kauai.

I don't know of any waterfall on Kaua'i named Waimea Falls, though Waipo'o Falls may sometimes be called Waimea Falls because Waipo'o is prominent in Waimea Canyon.

The only waterfall in Hawai'i I know of that is specifically named Waimea Falls is the Waimea Falls on the north shore of O'ahu.

Steve, you're right, as always. I had done a quickie Google search on "Waimea Falls Kauai" and saw this web page: http://www.mninter.net/~byerlys/0014ajpg.htm Note the page title says Waimea Falls Kauai, which is what the Google link said. I didn't actually look at the picture, which is Wailua Falls. Duh. ;)

Here's another link to a different page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/slm2/2959825778/

I'm really curious to know what waterfall the OP is looking for, though.

Hattrick, I think your right as I did ask about waiau falls in the international thread and found it on the north island. Yesterday some one thought that there is a waterfall in Hawaii with this name and I have a hard time spelling Hawaian words.

Steve, Im going to look at the list of Hawaian waterfalls for a clue.

Thanks everyone.
Bill
