Hi all, due to inattentiveness on my part I have 39,000 Staroptions expiring next week. Yes, I am aware it is a crime against timesharing and I promise it will never happen again. Is there any way to donate these to Make A Wish or any other organization?

If they cannot be banked, it will be very hard (if not impossible) to make a 2105 resie.

You could reserve a stay at WSJ which is currently showing availability. ;)

I am not sure how current this info is, but here is a previous post about Make-A-Wish. I believe you would have to make a 2015 reservation for them in Orlando, and donate the reservation, but you can call for more info:

Make-a-Wish Foundation has tremendous needs for Orlando housing as Disney is the #1 request of these very ill children.

The Central Florida Chapter fills the lodging requests for all states. They can always use donations, they need about 2-3 months notice for the matching/scheduling process.

Their info is:

1053 North Orlando Ave, Suite 1
Maitland, FL 32751
Office Phone: 407-622-HOPE (4673)
Office FAX: (407) 622-5803
Toll Free Florida Only:

Just out of curiosity, I checked and they still show availability.

Looks like it's gone now.

Regardless, there probably aren't too many people who can afford to take a last-minute trip at ~$1500 for a round-trip economy ticket.

I know, I mentioned that in my first post. I usually get FC for about $900 pp, not last minute of course.
