Is Lawrence Welk Escondido considered So Cal coastal?

We're interested in buying a So Cal coastal resort to use and occasionally exchange, and have read that summer weeks have high trading power. Escondido is not near the beach, but the Lawrence Welk resort is highly rated. What would have more trade power in those years we did decide to exchange it? Welk or something closer to the beach like Carlsbad Inn or Tamarack?

Thanks

Beachfront is a top trader. One block off the beach is weaker. One mile inland is weaker yet. Thirty miles off the beach is probably a bit weaker still, but probably not much less than one mile.

All three of the weeks will only trade great in summer.. and sometimes spring break.

Carlsbad Inn and Tamarack will be VERY expensive for a summer week.

The best options would be floating weeks that flaot for summer. You have plenty of resorts to choose from

Steve,

I have a San Diego Country Estates that I have always felt traded as well as beach front. Do you have anything to do a mini trade test with? Anyone else?

I have a San Clemente Inn summer week that I'd be happy to do a mini trade test with. You can pm or email me if you want to test something.
