Hi
I would like to find out which airlines fly out of Honolulu for either the west coast and at what time.

I thought the airport would have flight schedules but I can't seem to locate it. I've searched US Air, Continental, Delta and United. As well as Air Canada. They all leave at night. There must be some carrier that leaves during the day?

Diane

You may have to fiddle a bit for multiple routes, but Yahoo's Farechase looks at all the major airlines, and once all flights appear you can check and uncheck boxes pertaining to different time brackets.

Daytime departures (usually from about 11:00 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m.) from HNL to the West Coast:

To Vancouver - Air Canada and Air Pacific. Air Pacific only about twice a week.

To Seattle - Hawaiian and Northwest

To Portland - Hawaiian

To San Francisco - United, ATA, Hawaiian, American and Aloha

To Oakland - ATA and Aloha

To Los Angeles - United, American ATA, Hawaiian and Delta

To Ontario - ATA

To Orange County - Aloha

To San Diego - Hawaiian

I might have missed a few, but that's most of it.

That's not accurate, Diane. United, Aloha, etc all have flights that leave during the day.

I don't know how you're searching, but I suppose it's possible that on the date you are looking at, there's no daytime flight availability. Have you tried searching for departures on travelocity, orbitz, and then also on alohaair.com and Hawaiian's web site?

The official list of airlines that serve HNL airport is here: http://www.hawaii.gov/dot/airports/hnl/hnl_airlines.htm

Thanks everyone.
Sorry I wasn't clear David - I was trying to say the flights to Vancouver were at night (or very early morning ie 1:30 am).

I used the Yahoo Farechaser and found that awesome. And thanks for the list Dave.

Tuggers are just so darn cleaver!
