Is Caribe Royale the same as Vistana Villages?

We have a trip planned to stay at Horizons in Orlando the beginning of May. We just received an offer to stay at the Caribe Royale for 4 nights for 169 plus a gift of $100.

Is this the Vistana under a different name?

If not, has anyone stayed here? Is it worth giving up my Marriott stay?

TIA,

Erica

Caribe Royale is a condo hotel near the Marriott World Center and Vistana. It is not associated with either. It does a lot of convention business. Maybe they are trying to sell full condos. I would keep my Horizons.

No way would I give up Marriott Horizons for Caribe Royale. Caribe Royale is a condo hotel.

Thanks for the quick responses. I'll keep my Hoizons reservation!!!

However, the "promo" did come from Starwood and I was given a "preferred invitation" through sheratonvistanavillages at starwood hotels. There must be some connection?

Then I would suspect that Starwood is putting you up at the Caribe Royale in lieu of one of their resorts as part of a sales pitch.

Caribe Royal does do promotions for Starwood. They have kiosks in the lobbies for timeshare tours. This is a really nice hotel i've stayed there 5 or 6 times it is one of my favorate in Orlando the location is fantastic,The restaraunts are good, deli, bar, workout facilaty, kids play area and it has an great pool area.I know they have apartments there but I only stayed in the suites.I don't think Id give up Marriott for this Hotel but It is a very nice place to stay. It's better than alot of Orlando timeshares .Amenities and service is not lacking.I found this place by accident a couple of years ago after one of the hurricaines. We had no electric so we packed up and headed north. On the way I called AAA for anything decent in Orlando. It was a pleasant surprise when we got there and saw how nice it was.
