Introducing others

We have been trying, for several years now, to understand some of our relations - we never can keep it straight. I think some of them are second cousins per that chart. We just call the cousins. My cousin calls me "Uncle" for his kids even though I guess they're technically first cousin once removed. Oh well. Heck, most of my cousin's college friends swore we were brothers till we mentioned we were cousins lol.

I had a cousin that my daughters called "Uncle Cousin Ralph".

Well, hot damn! I have never understood the “removed” part so never used it, except to joke about family I’m not in contact with.

Everyone that's related to us is just called by their names, untill they goof up and they are called out by their full name by their mom's. It's funny to watch it play out.
