Has anyone else notice different Getaway availability across your II accounts?
This year, my Worldmark II account has very limited Getaway availability compared to my Vistana account.

WM / FSRC

Vistana

For example

For Orlando from 1/29/22 thru 7/29/23
  • WM/FSRC II Account can only see 5 resorts to choose from (no Marriotts)
  • Vistana II Account can see 43 resorts across five pages (BAU)

We only own Marriott and Vistana, both seem to match your list of available destinations you have with your Vistana.

What happens if you actually search for a specific destination using your Worldmark that is on the VIstana list but not on the Worldmark list? Do you get zero results?

alwysonvac, for the same period you notated (1/29/22 - 7/29/23) for Orlando, I see 39 weeks available with both my Hyatt and Marriott accounts. I can see plenty of Marriott's with my Hyatt week. That's interesting about your WM account not seeing more than 5.

Yeah, I get zero results.
I just tried searching for MGV, MGR with both accounts.

Are the missing locations places where Worldmark has a property?

No, the overall list of locations is just significantly reduced.

Have you looked in the Legal Information link at the bottom of the page then the Terms and Conditions to see the users guide for Worldmark? Is there perhaps some restrictions in there or verbiage relating to them using some procured list of available resorts or destinations in Getaways?

You might also want to ask this in the Worldmark forum to see if other people show the same list of available getaway destinations.

This is a recent change in II. I never seen this since I bought WM years ago.

@HudsHut

Can a WM owner check their II account and tell me what they see?

My II account is non-corporate, and has WM float weeks and a Marriott week deposited. I see 43 resorts across 5 pages for Orlando Getaways, including several Marriotts (MCP, MGR, MGV, MHZ).

asked @ski_sierra, whose account saw same 43 resorts / 5 pages.
another friend with VDP ownership in II, (no WM, no Marriott) same 43 / 5.

Thanks @HudsHut
So there must be something unique about my account. I sent an email to the Interval contact for TUG members.

….it’s confusing.

I have a Hyatt Corporate account, a Marriott Destination Club account, my personal paid account for my Sheraton Broadway Plantation and unenrolled Marriott weeks, and now two Disney accounts, one for each membership (I have two different use years)...

I used to own Disney years ago when II was the exchange company. :ponder:
Do Disney members currently have a significantly reduced getaway view? Does any of your personal paid accounts show a significantly reduced getaway view?

This is interesting. I used to only own WorldMark that trades in II for the last 7 years, and I been seeing all Getaways weeks before. I just closed on a Vistana SBP unit last Oct, and added it to the same personal II account in Jan of this this, so now both WorldMark and SPB units are in there.

Possibly due to my SPB, maybe that's why I am seeing what appears to be everything including the 43 resorts across 5 pages in Orlando. I don't know, if I hadn't add the Vistana SPB unit already, I might be limited too. Thanks for posting about this alwysonvac, made me check!

Logging into my DVC Account and going to II link thru DVC, I do seem to see the same available as your Vistana Getaway view, alwysonvac, but another interesting thing I discovered about DVC's corporate II account, it seems to only let me search getaways a year out (12 months), instead of normal 18 months out in personal WorldMark II account.

Back in the II days, I beleive DVC had a smaller curated list of resorts that their members/owners could exchange and book into.

Yes, I believe that’s correct.

Thanks @Great3
So far, I’m the only one seeing significantly reduced Getaway availability
Hopefully Mark will be able to get it fixed.

Yes, it's something specific to your II account only, I don't think it has to deal with WorldMark. Just check with a friend's II account that only has the WM 3-bedroom float ownership in his II account, and his account shows all the Getaways, same as your Vistana view, with 43 resorts in Orlando across 5 pages.

So, I wouldn't emphasize it seems to affect WM owners only. Good Luck, and please let us know how it turns out.

If Disney had a reduced getaway view my guess would be that it is a result of filtering out low quality resorts that members might complain about when they check in.

My WM only II account sees 43 resorts in Orlando across 5 pages including Marriotts.
