So crazy of II to up the prices for getaways in Orlando when there is more inventory this winter then there has been for years. Maybe a glitch but still silly.

I wish they would reduce the Getaways in Williamsburg, VA and HHI. SC.

What do people do in repeated visits to Williamsburg, VA? I feel like it's a one and done for a few decades.

We like to go for walks around the fords colony area. Maybe drive to Yorktown. Just hang out.
We usually go when returning from Florida or Hilton head I March to have a week of still possibly good weather before we return to the Canadian border in New York and seeing our kids in Ottawa.

We enjoy Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, and lots of day trips. Plus the whaling Company has an excellent happy hour with happy hour and early bird food priced really reasonably

Whew, I was wondering if they were getting ready to have a big sale.

For some, it is just looking at a different view or different set of walls (in the unit). Perhaps some different restaurants than you go to the other 300+ days you are at home. I know you can do this as many other destinations, but Williamsburg is drivable for a huge portion of the US population. I have yet to even go once, though we did drive by it once between Richmond and the Outer Banks.

I go to Massanutten or Smuggs for that, IDK why they seem more interesting. I think it's just because Colonial Williamsburg feels like "the thing" just like the theme parks are in Orlando. And the Colonial thing is only interesting once every couple decades to me lol. But it does seem like we should go back and try and do more of the driving and Yorktown stuff someday.

Different strokes for different folks.

I wrote to that group that runs Colonial Williamsburg years ago and asked why their entry fee is the same in off season when half (or more) of stuff is not open. We've been off season twice. It's not crowded, but also not real exciting. And it's largely a re-creation of what a town might have looked like, so indeed like a Disney thing. I like it but rest of family never wants to go again.
