Interval Confirmation Email Delays?

I just did an instant exchange early Thu morning and finally today, Sat afternoon, I got the confirmation.

After getting three re-confirmations this week I got one today at 9 am. And it was a NEW confirmation for Marriott Maui Ocean Club for next January

I am Very Very Very VERY Happy :whoopie:

I had a confirmation notice come to me on Weds. of this week - over 24 hours from the time I.I. made the reservation. When I called to say that I did not want that exchange, I was told that it was already over the 24 hours. Although I said I just received the email notification, the rep's response was that was my problem. I, too, wish I had seen this thread before.

You may wish to consider emailing the TUG Interval contact to request help. Generally the emails are responded to by Mark who is extremely helpful. Not sure what date your "my history' tab shows for when Interval made the trade. Perhaps if the confirmation was NOT sent timely after the trade was made it would help in getting resolution.

I think the email is tugmembers@intervalintl.com

As an FYI, a confirmation for a trade I made online on Dec 12 arrived today. I also did a re-trade and a new trade this week (on the 7th and 8th). Those confirmations showed up today (9th).

I know this is a dumb question but how do you check it you have received a match if no confirmation comes… I have an OGS, that says pending, review request and I don't know it that means I have a match? thanks for the help

Pending means no match, and review request will take you to the page to modify. If you had a match, it would say the resort, unit size, and the check in date.

Under the "My History" page and then under the "exchange" tab is where you see trades indicated. Normally it will show "confirmed" under the "status" column if the trade is confirmed. It can also show "cancelled" if you had a trade and cancelled it. (I am attaching a picture but not sure it will come through).

However, If you have a pending OGS, I think the only place that shows is under "Exchange" and then under "Your Units". Where you see the unit for deposit it will show if an OGS request is "pending" meaning you have made a request but it is still pending / nothing has been confirmed. Hope this helps

I believe that pending OGS will also show in My History under the Exchange tab, but it is all the way at the bottom of the list.

I just confirmed this by placing a new OGS. They do indeed appear on the Exchange tab in My History. They are almost at the bottom of the list, at least for me. They appear after the Confirmed and completed exchanges but before the Cancelled ones that we have. If you never cancelled an exchange, I suspect that pending requests would be right at the bottom of the Exchange tab.

There is a Review Request link that you can click on to see the request details and edit it.

I have been waiting for 2 requests since early November and was excited to get an email from II last week only to realize it was a duplicate confirmation they sent me months ago. Called and was told about the problem they have been experiencing. However, the rep did confirm one of the 2 pending requests had been filled and promised to email new confirmation. That was 6 days ago and still nothing.

I didn't receive my other two confirmations, so I went back in and resent them (My History -> Exchanges -> Resend Confirmation), and they came fairly quickly.

If you have outstanding confirmations, I would suggest going in and resending them.

I confirmed an exchange over the weekend and the confirmation email came out right away. Time stamped around 4:00am. Things must be back to normal, except for those missing past confirmations, but as Michael indicated, just request a resend on those.

I made two exchanges on the 7th and still no confirmations. They show up on My History as completed transactions. Resending them to myself through the My History tab. So It is an ongoing problem even when booking the exchanges directly online (no ongoing search).

I feel you are safe because you can see the resort confirmation information in your "My History tab."
