RCI has "made it easier for exchangers"! They have made international exchange prices the same as domestic. Aren't they benevolent! One catch; they raised the domestic to match international "just to make it easier" for us. As of yesterday domestic exchanges are $189 UNLESS you do it on line. Then they are still $169.

Yep, but they are $164, not $169, when booking online.

Yeah, and before long, they will ape the airlines and add a ''fuel surcharge'', ''luggage fee'' or some other junk fee.

Well I was just on RCI searching with my Silverleaf deposit and when I checked confirm into another Silverleaf Resort the price of $189 came up but if I confirmed a non-SL resort it's still $164. Figure that one out. Tell me this isn't right:(

I also noticed before when trying to confirm sometimes it will say call RCI. Does that mean we will be charged the higher price.

update:

I just got off the phone with RCI tech support and he said the $189 that I am seeing is an error. He did say if you do the exchanges on line it will be $164 if you have a guide do it its $189. He said if I have problems confirming on line or if it still shows up as $189 on line to call in and they will put it thru for the $164.

I read exchanges will be 25% off and international get the domestic price if booked online. I got charged $189 for Mexico. Shouldn't it be $164 minus 25% Will call them tomorrow.

And of course they are off line tonite since its Saturday night. I think they should change the time or day they do their updates.

Also wonder if they are doing the extra week for an exchange fee with out using your week if staying at the same location. They used to have this promo and was not able to take advandage at the time. Mexico was one location that qualified. One plus one it was called I think.
