Internal week reservations through Vacatia

It it possible to reserve weeks at other Vacatia affiliated resorts for cash and not exchange? Or how would an internal exchanged work?. Do we still have to pay exchange fees? Would it hust be week for week exchange or Would our RCI points need to be used as well. I'm in the process of getting 2 Grandview contacts and I want to have as much information as possible.

Yes. Be logged in as an owner and look at rentals. They also promote it from the owner hub.

Or how would an internal exchanged work?​

They have some kind of owner plus internal exchange deal for Vacatia managed properties, but I have not seen where it has been opened to VV owners yet. I heard where someone posted the Geandview owners meeting that Vacatia said they would be launching some kind of internal exchange this year.

Unknown, but their model has generally been to charge an annual fee and not fees for each exchange. In their existing system you are assigned points and can book partial weeks with them. I would love for a Vacatia owner in that system to let us know what they think. This will be separate and apart from RCI.

I own 2 VV properties, and can’t answer your questions now on how internal exchanges will work.

Are you buying RCI points enrolled weeks or not? It is an unresolved question if you will be able to exchange them as long as they are enrolled in RCI points. I think they will, but don’t have any certainty of it.

There is a VV internal exchange option through RCI that is week for week (doesn’t work in RCI Points) that is now a $200 per week exchange fee.
