Has anyone had experience with integrated LED lighting in bathrooms? We're remodeling and the majority of the sconces I like are integrated LED. They appear to put out much less light than incandescent, CFL or LED bulbs. Many reference 'ambient light'...I want it to be bright enough to shave/put on makeup (all will be on dimmers). Unfortunately, you can't just take one home and plug it in so I'm hoping for some input from folks who have installed these.

ive replaced all my bathroom lights from regular halogen/cfl to LED...but i just used the bulbs.

I do notice a huge reduction in heat given off, i dont do much makeup stuff...but if I had to make a review, id say the led lights were softer and whiter than the yellowish regular filament type bulbs they replaced.

certainly just as bright!

We've replaced all our bulbs throughout the house w/LED. In fact, our 3 way 50/100/150 was replaced with an LED 3 way, max watt equivalent of 100 and it's just as bright if not slightly brighter than the incandescent with 150 max wattage!

These integrated LEDs are a different animal and trying to determine brightness equivalency is not as straightforward as the bulbs we now have.

Some of these integrated ones I've seen on display at Home Depot are very bright. Check them out.
