I am looking at picking up some points at the Welk in Escondido and wanted to get some thoughts from the experts! I know I can join Interval to do the transfer to a DVC resort (if available) but whatI can't find is anything to indicate roughly how many points would it take to transfer for a week stay? Has anyone had experince with a transfer like this with any success? In a perfect world we would alternate between the Welk and DIsney World. Hoping to get some thoughts from you all.

Thanks in advance.

You may want to post this in the Welk forum to see if someone has a point chart for exchanging Welk points through II. It is usually based on unit size and TDI. Then you may also want to join TUG so you can access the members only Sightings forum where people post what inventory they see for DVC in II.

There is no points chart anymore. It use to be 90K (studio), 120K (1BR) and 240K (2BR), but points were devalued in II last year. It is now based on season and resort tier (Elite for DVC). There is currently some availability in 1BR for 200K points. Once you make 3 postings, I'll private message you a screenshot of availability.

@rickandcindy23 might be able to weigh in on this.
