Info on Divi in Bonaire

Hi,
Can anyone give me any information on the Divi in Bonaire or on Bonaire itself? The reviews here are rather old. I am thinking of putting in a request for 2012 and the Divi is the only resort II has to trade into. Any information would be appreciated.

One of the Divi reviews is mine, and yes, it's old. I visited there again for a short time last year, but didn't stay and so didn't write a resort review update. I spend one to three weeks in Bonaire every year at Buddy Dive. There's a some general Bonaire info in my reviews of that resort. I'm not sure what to add, but if you have some specific questions, post them here and I'll be happy to try to answer.

Great Dive Resort!

Bonaire is all about diving. Bonaire is consistently voted the best dive spot in the Caribbean. If you don't dive there is not much to do there. So, if you are a diver, this is a great resort. The rooms are studios with two double beds and a partial kitchen. The cost to dive is very, very cheap and you can just about shore dive the entire Island. The boats and dive shop are right at the resort. They give you a locker to store you dive gear right on the dock. It is very convenient to dive and there is a great dive spot 100 feet off the resort. Tanks are available 24 hours a day.

You can walk downtown from the resort and there is a small grocery almost across the street and larger groceries a few more blocks away. All is within walking distance. There are restaurants onsite but they are not cheap, but there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. I had most of my meals at my room.
