With all that I am, with every fiber of my chumpy little being, with all my strength and all I can muster, I profess, and gnash my few remaining teeth over, my hatred of Marriott. I despise Marriott. I despise each and every one of those piss-ant hotels and resorts, the corporate elite properties, particularly those exampled as a ‘destination’. That is one of the more interesting first posts I've seen; certainly one of the few posts, if any, to use to word reprobate.

DeniseM and Sue appear to have omitted the usual welcome to TUG in response to the initial post of a guest. Allow me to correct that omission.

REALLY? Your first post and this is what you post? Oh brother, another Marriott "hater." If you seriously despise mother Marriott so much to send such a hateful note to them and then post it here for others to read, just stay the heck away from them. If you own MVC, sell it or give it away. If you have Marriott reward points, transfer them to an airline or other affiliated program, and never stay in another Marriott again. Seriously, I doubt they'd care.

I will have to agree with JanT. You may have legitimate complaints regarding Marriott - this wouldn't be surprising- and your creative writing skills may be impressive but I also find your post very off:annoyed: ensive.

I wonder if this is the same "Ted" Tanner that is affiliated with AEG and the LA Live project? They have had extensive dealings with Marriott lately. I wonder if things are going sour with their relationship (or someone else is sandbagging it here). If you google Ted Tanner (or Theodore Tanner) and Marriott you get a lot of hits where the relationship is mentioned. Here is just one:
