In Flight movie?

I'm leaving for Cancun and using US Air. Does anyone know if they show an in flight movie or should I bring reading material? I flew to Cabo last summer on American and they had no movies. It was a long borring flight reading the air shopping mags.

I always bring reading material even if there is an in-flight movie. Many times the movies have been terrible. Doesn't US Air give information on their website as to whether there will be a movie or not?

I have a habit of bringing a book with me almost anywhere I go, so I'm going to suggest your own reading materials. Most flights I've taken don't offer movies and the ones that have were awful. Even if I was interested in seeing the movie the pilot interrupted constantly and they never seem to run smoothly, anyway.:wall:

I always take my laptop with me when I travel, along with my latest supply of Netflix DVDs. Then it's my choice as to what movie to watch, whether or not the flight has scheduled movies.

Movies

Went to SXM from Seattle in October and American Airlines had the same movie for both coming and going. Movie was Meyrl Streep in Prada, a good movie but not good enough to watch it twice.
