One positive thing, and it's a big one, the new crackdown of DAS cheaters who took advantage allowed us to get on Jungle Cruise in 30 minutes, not the one hour or more we used to wait. We also rode Haunted Mansion in record time, and even Seven Dwarfs was less than 30 minutes.

I don't mind things going back to where they were because it was fair. During Covid, we waited only 15 minutes for Peter Pan. It was great.

Get rid of LL and I will be a happy camper because 20 minutes in any line is enough waiting for me.

I agree with you whole heartedly on all these points. Especially the difference in both the LL Lines and the resulting difference in Stand By Lines.. That right there speaks to what ended up being almost an immediate difference in wait times after the crackdown.
I liked the old Paper System, its an example where technology hasn't made things any better.

I liked the paper system as well. Rick would take all of our passes, whoever was with us, run to the ride and get us paper FP's. Rick has a shirt that says he is a Fast Pass Pro with Mickey on it. He was a FP pro for sure.

What I would like to see is for people to refuse to pay for LL at the outrageous price. We would go back to decent wait times.

I think it's sad to see moms and dads with their eyeballs on their phones all day as it is. Add in LL to get that next ride time reserved, it's taking away family time. Our daughter-in-law was beyond frustrated with our first LL attempt. She had to leave with the twins (who were 2 at the time) before our second ride. We didn't get our money's worth out of that purchase.

That is exactly why I am all for the premier pass…I don’t have to make an appointment/reservation for a ride. I can just walk up- it also keeps phone usage to a minimum. Make the initial purchase tap my magic band. Again while it may sound ridiculous I would rather see the lightning lane multi-pass system go away completely. We are in the beginning stages of planning a trip with a first time family with younger children. For MK we will be using premier passes.

What I hope they do is move towards a system similar to Universal Express pass and other major theme/amusement parks. Express pass is the only offering it’s exclusive to top tier resorts and the cash price reflects it but those lines move…I find it amusing that most people accept express pass for what it is without complaint.

I also think Universal’s accessibility policies are somewhat better, putting guests initially through an external clearing-house and then universal team members contact guest directly to discuss available options…

How did an autistic child look different from any other child? I taught in public schools and had two autistic kids who were not outwardly autistic to look at them. Now Disney is deciding who looks autistic and who doesn't? That's discriminatory and prejudicial.
Disney requires the DAS individual to join the call at the end, in part, to take a photograph of them. That photograph is then used at scan-in points to ensure that the DAS individual is actually the one scanning in. (They always have to scan in first ahead of the rest of the party).

We have a friend who has a Down's Syndrome adult she cares for 100% of the time and is in a wheelchair. She was denied DAS twice, then a third person finally said they had to see the adult, she put Janelle on the video, and then they did allow her to use DAS. It was a pretty major turnoff for everyone who hears the story of how ridiculous the process has become.
