Call LT transfers and they can walk you through it. My only recommendation is you should add wording to the standard agreement that if the buyer does not execute the final paperwork and deposited all transfer fees in 60 days, then you have the option to offer the property to another buyer. You do not want a buyer dragging this out so you must pay 2025 maint fees.

Hello Demrex. I am doing the opposite; researching how to purchase additional points at a lower cost to maximize my timeshare use. [deleted] I am just unclear how much your annual dues are and if your 8,000 points are annual or bi-annual. If you would be willing to share that information, I would appreciate it. We may both be able to successfully stumble through the process.

For those in the know, would these be MAX points (or surely not Club points), and how would that reflect on my landing page for use? Would I be able to manage both points styles on my one account? Or do I have to purchase Club points from now on because that's my original program? I have been lurking on this site for a while to gather information and I am not finding good details on how it resolves when you own more than one property.

As an FYI, I have been an owner for 6 years (HGVC), and upgraded/refinanced to an Elara Club level in 2023.

So this may be a naive/laughable request... but is there anyone that has responded in here that has experience doing this and that would be willing to help me do this once I have someone interested in purchasing from me? I'm really worried about scammers even here on the forums. Please reach out over DMs if you'd be willing to kind of coach me through this. I'd appreciate any help I can get.
We are happy to point you in the right direction, but you should contact LTT - they will guide you right through it and make you feel very comfortable - that's their job. Go ahead and contact them - you don't have to wait until you have a buyer. You can start off by reviewing their webpage: They are Tuggers, they get high marks on TUG, and they are efficient and inexpensive - usually less than $300. I have used them many times over the years:

There is no such thing as "MAX" points. It's a program associated with the owner, not the points. These would be Club points. And they would lump with other Club points on your landing page. Only "by Hilton Club" points are broken out separately.

Cheers.

Hello Demrex. I am doing the opposite; researching how to purchase additional points at a lower cost to maximize my timeshare use. I may be interested in purchasing your points with the closing costs through LT Transfers and your 2025 dues, with no added cost. I am just unclear how much your annual dues are and if your 8,000 points are annual or bi-annual. If you would be willing to share that information, I would appreciate it. We may both be able to successfully stumble through the process.

@Tyrael-36 - I made a post in the free timeshares section that has the details you've asked for. Feel free also to send me a DM. If you're really interested, I'm happy to engage with you and get things moving. I've already reached out to LTT and have a rough idea of the costs involved.

That's a great idea of giving it away with the buyer paying closing costs. Didn't know there would be people willing to do that - I hope I can get a bite doing something like that. I really hope I can figure all this out and not get scammed by someone... I just want the thing gone. I've never sold a timeshare before so I have no clue what the process is really like. If I find a "buyer" ... how do I effectively transfer the deed? Am I going to need to notarize documents? What documents? Lol... and these are just some of my basic layman questions.
What resort? Might be worth paying someone to do the transfer. Unit /week?!
