I'm confused about flexchange

I am fairly new to this board. I have seen many references to flexchange, but I will admit that I don't really understand what is is. I know it has to do with exchanges within 59 days. What I don't get is how people check on what's available with flexchange. How do you do that? I haven't been able to find a reference to it at Interval World. I have an AC and would like to be able to see what I may be able to get with it with flexchange. How would I go about that?

I may have figured it out, but I'm not sure. I went to Interval World and clicked on view your units, than on my AC. I entered dates within 59 days. Is that all there is to it?

I am just as new as you :D but that is my understanding. If you enter dates within the 59 days then most restrictions should be lifted (how's that for a qualified answer)

You figured it out and I went through the exact same confusion before I called II. The fun part now begins by "playing" with flexchange to see what's available 59 days ahead of time. Good Luck!!

What a coincidence that we all love Newport Coast! We're going with daughter, son-in-law and grandkids for Thankgsgiving and purchased a getaway from II for Palm Springs the following week. Have you stayed at Newport yet?. This will be our first time.

Yes, we spent a week at Newport in July. I posted a review, but you have to be a member to view it. If you have any questions, just ask. I have also stayed at Palm Desert at the Marriot Desert Springs Villas II. Once on a getaway and once with my parents who own there. Where are you staying in Palm Desert?

NCV

We've visited, but have not stayed at NCV yet. We are using the points to save up for a big Australia trip in a couple of years (no lectures please on the wisdom of trading for points). We are using the Welk property to trade, which is still pending since we are already scheduled for Bonaire in April and will use an AC for an October 2009 trip. Until then I keep reading and will hopefully be an expert when we have more vacation time!

I am a member of TUGS, joined in August, and I don't know why it says guest. I 'll have to find out how to change my status so I can read the review. We are staying at the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage in December and at Marriott Desert Palm Villas 1 in February. It will be the first time we've stayed at these two resorts.

My husband and I are also planning to use points for a big trip in 2010. Don't know where yet. Keep on collecting those points!!!
