We are looking into II timeshares for the Yellowstone area for next summer. Any suggestions which resorts we should consider. My understanding is that the resorts in the Big Sky, MT area offer more activities but it is further away from Yellowstone and that the Island Village timeshare is much closer to the part entrance. Any info or suggestions would certainly be appreciated.

You can access Island Park Village, Timecenter Jackson Hole or Jackson Hole Racket club Through II

Worldmark now has a resort at the entrance to west but I would be suprised if II got any summer deposits.

I am not sure which montana resorts trade through II

We are Island Park Fans (own 3 weeks there) and generally go to the park for a couple of days and spend the rest in the Island Park Area - there is lots to do & see.

Island Park

I traded into Island Park for one week starting May 30, 2009, one bedroom unit. I traded through RCI. We have never been to that area and can't wait. I understand it is wonderful. There are so many beautiful things to see and travelling is so much fun. Within about a three-year span I will have been to Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Petrified Forrest, Painted Desert, Banff and Jasper, Yellowstone, Tetons, and Cape Cod. Plus, we've also been to Hilton Head and Gatlinburg.

II quality filter may have big impact for options in Yellowstone

I have a conference in Bozeman, MT next June and am also looking at adding a week's vacation in a ts near Yellowstone through II. I have been told by II that I will not be able to get Island park Village because its quality is too low for my trader so I'm basically considering Big Sky at this point. Just something for the OP to think about.

I'm not sure what II is speaking about as far as quality; I agree it's definately not Gold Crown but it is Very Definately not a dump. A 7.5 out of 10 is my rating. We were there this past JUne you can read my review and others on the review section of tug. If you can't get a trade there through II try TradingPlaces.com as they manage the resort ( and often have availability) ; and you don't heve to pay a membership fee to join if (unless platinum membership).

Thanks for all the info. It sounds like we really can't go wrong either way.

Can anyone tell me if RCI lake condos at big sky and II Big Sky resort is the same place. And also what is the difference between Big Sky resort and Boyne vacations at big sky stillwater, shoshone and big horn. Are they the same place and if not how far apart are they.
