II trade into New Orleans for Easter break (Apr 18-20 checkin, 2025)

Interval called me today with what they freely admitted was a decided downgrade of an offer for my medium Abound points week -

Hotel de la Monnaie (HLM)

It looks like there have been no tug reviews made of the property, but I’m hoping that those who are familiar with the city might weigh in as to whether it’s a good choice for a first-ever visit (active mom, bringing 23 and 16 yo daughters), or whether I should hold out for my requested Quarter House or Holiday Inn.

Does anyone have recent trade experience?
We unfortunately have no flexibility in dates, for this trip.

I just spent a few days in New Orleans a month ago. While I didn't stay in a time share property (I stayed at the Residence Inn in French Quarters), the downtown area is still fresh in my head and I can comment on the location.

First I would say that the hotel is a 10 minute walk from Cafe du Monde so that's a huge plus (I made 2 trips there during my 4 night stay). Also, the location is great. Lots of restaurants, carriage rides and shops in that area. The French Quarters isn't very far either.
