II problems

I have tried several times to look at exchanges with II and can't get anywhere. I have a week to exchange and cannot get any further then entering the calendar info and then the same screen comes back. I have done this for years and just wondering if II is having a problem. Thanks
 
You might try calling II and asking if they have someone there that can help with the internet searches. I have never had a problem. I assume you are a member with paid dues covering the time frame you are trying to look for and that you obviously have an II number. Sometimes you have to makeup a confirmation number, but otherwise you should have your unit listed and be able to select it to perform the search.

Yes, all is current and as soon as II opens I will try calling them. Did you happen to do a trial run to see if you could open an exchange window other than the one where you enter your request info? Thanks

I tried..and I can't search either. There is a website problem.
 
I have treid too no luck system down?

I have tried to do some exchanges this morning and keep getting error too.
 
Thanks as I thought I was just doing something wrong or that my computer was playing tricks on me.
 
I've been trying to do an exchange over the past few days, and it keeps going back to a revise dates screen, no matter what dates I put in. I thought I was doing something wrong.
 
I just tried and the same problems persist.
 
Just tried and II is still having problems. Once you select your deposit for exhcange and click on the exchange button to get the list of available resorts, it appears that each available exchange is listed singly, assuming it is listing all available exchanges. Tried several times and gave up.

I have twice been able to get to the following screen:
Start Booking
The unit below is on hold for 18 minutes. You have 18 minutes to complete booking.
 
try putting in the exact resort or destination you are interested .
i was able about an hour ago to get a barony at hilton head for 03-21-08 for a week with an a/c.
i had been looking for a hilton head week for easter with my a/c for the last week and there it was this morning.
i also had been unsuccessful in getting into the flexchange period using all destinations as i normally would do.
good luck with this approach.

There are 3 buttons to choose how your results are filtered at the top of your results (Travel Date, Resort Name, and Location), the normal default is by resort name..but with this glitch, they are sorting by Travel date... click the circle in front of: Resort Name and your list will re-sort into the view you are used to seeing.
 
Same problem. I have tried everywhich way, but get the same result...it will give me about 4-5 single listings of the resort I'm interested in when I know there are at least a dozen listings. The problem may be intermittent. As I recall, II had a similar glitch (my screen never went beyond the destination/travel dates selection screen) about 2 months ago. It lasted a couple of days.

ohhh, i see, it makes you start all over to see all of the weeks at a particluar resort. after refreshing, only a few come up....yes, this is a PIB....hopefully it will get ironed out soon...I can't get past the exchange screen if I select all destinations...it just keeps bouncing back...sooo, when i redefine my search by the map....i can continue....
 
Its a website problem. It works for me only if I put in a specific destination or resort but NOT if I search for general availability anywhere at a given time. I have been told in the past that they often update their web data Saturday night. Its frustrating, I know. This web malfunction is likely to be corrected Monday.

When the search results screen for that destination appears, click on "all destinations" on the left panel of that screen. Then you get the results for all desinations.
 
They obviously are having serious problems which means no one will be able to get through on the phone tomorrow cause the whole world will be calling to complain....UGH
 
Is anyone else having problems getting into II this morning? Has anyone contacted II about it?

now a different problem

I went in to book a resort from the Sightings and was able to get all the way into booking, past the insurance & guest certificate page, only to have it then tell me that I need to renew my membership because the exchange dates are beyond my end date. This is not true! The exchange is for October 2008 and my membership is good through December 2008. :mad:

I have an AC and cannot get past the exchange page either....I thought something happened to my week and then I find it is the same thing with my Worldmark float week...

thought I was going crazy.
