II limitations??

I have an exchange and may have to cancel it.
I would check in Oct 27,2012. When does it become to late to cancel( I know I will lose the Exchange fee- didn't get the insurance ).

you can cancel it before 60 days from check-in.
However, you can consider "re-trade" if you are interested in a starwood resort.
If you cancel, cancellation week is good for only 1 year from your date of cancelled. But until 8/17, if you find a week to use, you call II and ask retrade.
You pay just $134 (if you use replacement week, it is $149 for domestic exchange) and you can cancel it later if you cannot use it.
If you use replacement week, you cannot cancel it again.
