II Getaways in AZ...

I was planning on using my WKV this summer in Arizona...but was surprised at the getaways on II for both the Westin and Marriot. 1 week at either for around $220 (1 bdrm), $320 (2 bdrm). Is this common?

I live in AZ so I don't mind the heat, I just like to getaway by heading to the resorts in the summer with the kiddos.

I'm beginning to wonder why I even bothered buying WKV.

Yes, this is very common. You can also often get these units with ACs well in advance, as summer months are usually on the grid.

II normally has a lot of get-a-ways for summer desert resorts. (Both AZ and Palm springs) Never the less, many owners have reported that their summer westins and marriotts trade very well.
