Hi all,

I had not been a member for II that long so not entirely sure of the rules.
Thing had been really busy with work and family health issues so little time for vacation for 1-2 years aside for the odd weekend trip.

I let my II membership expire and was intending to renew and extend the week deposited there before it expired but forgot about it. The week expired last year and was wondering if there is anything I can do to get it unexpired since I know SFX allow 1 week to unexpire for each week of deposit.

If you actually deposited the week so that II used the week it would not hurt to call up and ask. If it was just registered but not deposited II could not use the week either which is now expired so your argument is much weaker.

This falls in the it does not hurt to call up and ask department as long as you are not "pushed out of shape" if the answer is no. I would emphasize the family health issues. When I made an II mistake (innocently made but against the II rules) they did not give me my week back but did give me an equivalent Accommodation Certificate. Of course there is a charge to use the week but for a one bedroom it was just a little bit more than a trade. I had to talk to a supervisor but I was ultimately happy with the compromise. Funtime

It was deposited into II but expired.

Called and spoke to an agent and then a supervisor. If I had my II membership and called before it expired I can extend it for up to 1 year for a fee.

The week has already expired and II said they can only process weeks that expired within the last 3 months and my week expired longer than that.
