please forgive me as I'm sure this has been discussed before but I couldnt locate it.

would I be correct that with II the trade is based on the number of weeks and not the "quality."

for example, I am guessing I can not deposit my 2009 week and my 2010 week to get something bigger or "better" elsewhere.

No - you can't combine 2 weeks on an exchange - it is one-for-one.

However, during the 3 day Starwood priority period, most of the rules are thrown out the window and people see 2 bdms. at the Big 5 resorts with bottom feeders like SDO 1 bdms. (I can say that because I own an SDO bottom feeder one bdm.!)

I have had multiple sucess trading small one bedroom units for two bedroom units. In fact, I feel that I have received a better deal.
