I have a question that I am confident a fellow Tugger or Tuggers can help me with. I currently have a confirmed week at Marriott Ko Olina in a 1br that was exchanged with my 2br MVF. I also have several other Marriott and Starwood deposited weeks in II. Therefore to try to get a 2br MKO, I just added an OGS for the week of my confirmed MKO 1br week to my other 2br MVF deposit and requested a 2br MKO. If I get an exchange with this separate deposit into a 2br MKO week, can I call II and have them exchange it for my previously confirmed exchange which I purchased E-trade with then put this deposit back into my account and my previous OGS' will be put back in line when I originally placed the requests for this deposit?

I know it sounds convoluted and confusing, I hope it is understandable...

If you are doing a retrade they generally won't let you do a switch from a match with an ongoing search for another deposit. Retrades and eplus are for manual searching only and retrades only. You get the safety of a confirmed match but lose the ability to use that for any kind of ongoing search. You can always try to get an agent to do so but I doubt you will be successful.

If you know there is no way you could use the one bedroom unit, you could cancel the exchange and start an ongoing search with the replacement week.

Ive tried to do that before with no success...Agents say it is impossible, that they have to release the trade and try to capture it by retrading your existing 1bedroom to get the 2 bedrooom...risky cause it doesnt usually show up in inventory right away and may hit another OGS when released.

I agree, if you get a 2br, keep the 2br exchange and just retrade the 1 br for something else
