I spoke with a fantastic Interval agent the other day. After we had finished with the business part I asked if she had an extension she could give me. She indicated that she doesn't have a direct extension as they don't want their members to have to wait on hold for them. This is actually the second time that a rep has told me they can't give me a direct extension.
I have been able to extensions of individual reps in the past without a problem. I just wonder if it is a change in policy? Or is it based on their "level" within the organization.
When she answered, she answered as the 'Starwood Desk' but said she also handles Marriott's when I indicated I had Marriott ownerships.
