We're thinking of selling our Wyndham points. We gave some good friends a Wyndham week which is booked for July of 2016 for his retirement. If I get rid of it before then, it won't impact that trip, will it?

I bought the points resale, and we own it outright. Monthly fees are current.

New owner could cancel the reservation.

Listing your timeshare points and selling can be 2 very different processes ... might take MONTHS to find a willing buyer.

Cross that bridge when you find a buyer .... perhaps.

If priced right Wyndham points should sell quickly.

Sister did this and while they assured her the reservation was still Ok, it was NOT! I would wait to close till you use it.

If you are selling one of your several contracts the reservation will stay with you

If you are selling your only contract the reservation will go into never never land it still exists but it won't stay in your account because you won't have an account but it won't go to your buyer either

I would add the guests name and print the confirm and your guest should be ok The safer course would be to wait until after check out
