Idea for 2025 - membership extension for posting a direct exchange listing!

So to kick off 2025, i want to see just how many owner to owner trades we can facilitate in a year...so to start im going to offer a 6month membership extension for anyone who posts a direct exchange listing in the TUG marketplace!

no catch, no hidden agenda, just post a VALID direct exchange listing for a week you have coming up in the future and ill give you a free membership extension!

Direct Owner Exchanges are posted the same way you post resale/rental listings in the TUG marketplace! https://tug2.com/timesharemarketplace

1. they do not require an ad credit to post
2. please be sure to include what you might be looking for on trade!
3. listing must be for an upcoming usage date!
4. suppose you should be able to post an rci/ii interval you have reserved as there is no money changing hands on these...so it could be an option for owners who have exchanges they cant use or rent!
5. you are not obligated to exchange your timeshare just by posting a listing! if you wish to use it, rent it, rebook/whatever...just posting a direct exchange listing does not prohibit you from doing any of that as its still your week! this is just providing an opportunity for a free trade with another tug member!

I just posted one to get things started. I have done two direct exchanges previously through TUG and both were great experiences.

just to clarify since ive gotten a few messages on it. you dont have to MAKE an exchange to get a membership extension. just post one!

I think you have to have an account on TUG2 - you might have to pay for that, I'm not sure.

the only membership that has to be paid for is the first year @ $15....one can go the rest of their lives as a TUG member without paying a dime for all the free memberships/incentives/etc given out to allow contributors to maintain their membership! (not to mention I give away dozens of free memberships across all our social platforms every year).

but yes, tug exchanges do require TUG membership.

whats keeping you from posting one of your intervals you might already have up for rent, as a direct exchange option as well?
