Iceland Is the Perfect Coronavirus Refuge

I've always wanted to go to Iceland but I abhor cold weather. Obviously, the two just don't jive. But, alas if I were more adventurous I'd be there in a minute!

It's an expensive place to visit.
I bet it's cheaper now.
I was supposed to leave for Iceland on June 4. First Vantage World Travel cancelled their trip. I am waiting on my refund. Then the house I rented thru Trip Advisor was cancelled by Trip Advisor. Then I cancelled my part with Colette. I had a 500 deposit with them and turned down a voucher because we have decided no cruises and no big bus groups. Now I am waiting for Iceland Air to cancel my June 4 flight which I think they will do the end of the month and I will fight for a refund.
I read about Iceland reopening. They can test you upon entry or you can bring a doctor letter. There is no guarantee you won’t pick it up at the airports or on the plane.
Iceland will be as expensive as before or more so because of the economic situation. Some of their vendors have gone out of business.
I don’t see me planning to go there anytime in the next year or more. Maybe not at all.

Yeah, going to iceland will cost a lot. I have been wanting to go there.
