The codeine cough medicine works miraculously for a cough. I hope he can get it. Rick practically begged our doctor for it last time he had a bad cough because his chest and back were so inflamed from coughing. It hurt to cough like that.

Where is the common sense in the medical profession?

I broke my arm almost two years ago on Maui, maybe some of you remember that. It was a serious break by my shoulder. I landed on my side, on my arm. I knew it was broken. I have had chronic pain in the arm ever since, then I was at a Christmas gathering with family and my niece mentioned collagen as a way to help with hair loss, aging, nail strength and some other benefits.

About the 5th or 6th day of taking collagen mixed in my coffee, I realized my arm pain is gone. Did some Google research and sure enough, there are reports of collagen helping bones.
Everytime I decide to take collagen I get so confused when looking at all the brands and options and do nothing. Which is working for you?

On a cruise, for a persistent cough, a nurse (fellow cruiser)
suggested dark chocolate - at least 70% cocoa. It helped!

Too bad they discontinued Norco, Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. They worked great when my sciatica flared up.
Just had it in November for dental extraction? the brand name is gone but generic are definitely available.

The one that I buy has been on sale at both Sam's and Costco. It's Vital Proteins Peptides Collagen in a blue canister. it's about .75 per serving, and Rick mixes it with my coffee in the morning.

I have chronic pain and take the 8-Hour Tylenol and 800mg Ibuprofen at bedtime. My doc doesn't want me on Ibuprofen but I can't sleep otherwise. I just avoid it the rest of the day. Sometimes I swap with Aleve and that works fairly well. I was hospitalized 3 times in 2024 and I hoard my stash of oxy for emergencies.

It's great that they are finally worried about addiction but there needs to be a pain solution for people when Tylenol is not enough.
