Good luck with the Post Office.
Can you mail this package FedX and still be within the time frame?
Legally, as an emergency (ie post office closed on Sunday), fedex should be fine, as long as one uses the equivalent of USPS certified mail and, if necessary, return receipt requested.

I don’t believe I can. The contract said the cancellation had to be sent via certified mail through usps.

I can send it fedex tomorrow as a backup. Guess it can’t hurt to send it both ways.

No need. Just send USPS-certified, return receipt requested to Great Eastern Resort Corp. Keep copies of all mailed paperwork. VV Massanuetten not known to be a bad actor.

You dont need to send it Fedex too. As long as your have the proof of mailing from the post office within the recession timeframe your good. Doesn't matter if the post office delivers it tomorrow or in a month.
