It seems like most of us on tug are going thru this with either our dog or our cats. I was not prepared for this with all that is happening still with my 95 yr old mom. She never looked sick, or acted sick but when I picked her up Sat. all I could feel were bones. She had absolutely no muscle tone. Because she is a persian I didn't realize she was loosing weight. I took her to the vets today and had to make the choice of trying to prolong her life or putting her down. She would only get worse and quickly and didn't want to put her through a lot of pain. She died in my arms and felt no pain. Kelli couldn't watch and is more of a basket case than I am. She was 13 yrs old and I can honestly say she led a life of love and pampering. She was one who never was sick and was a wonderful companion. I will miss her terribly. shaggy
