SOLD signs make me realize what I missed by not checking DAE sooner!!

Not really. Most of them you won't have access to for two weeks unless you are a gold member anyway. I don't know how long the SOLD stays on, but it gets annoying.
The more I think about the new system, the more I see it driving people to RCI or II, where there is a huge difference in inventory.

I just looked at all the good ones that got away!

Saw some sold weeks I wished I had put in requests for. Can I get Summer weeks in UK and Ireland before DAE Europe customers snap them all up if I put in requests???

Yes,

We place your requests in the order it was entered regardless of where the member resides. So you are in the request line along with European requestors.

Also, per earlier post. We only display the SOLD listing to inform members. This display comes as a result of having recieved so many inquiries about request fulfillment and inventory availability. We found that without showing what we were booking via requests, members didn't know what we actually had the capacity to fuflill. Inventory on the DAE site won't typically show up as available on our web site if we have an open request for it. So members never see that we get and exchange quite a bit of inventory that never makes it online!

Given what RCI is now doing with rentals, I would rather see a word like ''reserved'' than I would ''sold''. I think DAE needs to avoid any use of terms that might imply it is doing what RCI is with member deposits. DAE certainly is not, but why use a term that might imply that they are.
