I.I. trade into Manhattan Club?

Anybody know what my chances may be of trading into Manhattan Club?
I have a 1 bedroom banked with I.I. (my Westin Mission Hills).
 
I think your chances are slim of getting into the Manhattan Club Penthouse Suites. BTW, the Suites trade in II and the Club trades in RCI. Very limited availability for exchange, as most owners use their weeks.
 
I was able to exchange using our RCI weeks (around 58 points) to the Manhattan Club for a studio unit for Easter week 2012. Problem is..I may have to cancel because of change in plans. It's a lot of points and I'm glad I purchased the vacation protection plan. Maybe another time.
 
I have been told that "exchangers" actually have very specific units used there. I am told from owners that they are in less desirable location, are not nearly as nice and were skipped in the last renovations. They were EXTREMELY unhappy they ended up in one of these units when they went a while ago - so I imagine there must be a significant difference.

This is certainly a time where "location - location- location" applies.

I have another friend who is looking to sell their "Manhattan area" New York unit. Please PM if I can provide contact information.

I exchanged for the Manhattan Club and got a May week . I used a Starwood Vistana week.
I just called them up and they had it available.
