I auto pay my maintenance fee monthly. I recently got an e-mail from Travel and Leisure stating they refunded $500 dollars to my account. They didn't say why but I suspect it may be related to our recent exchange of the closed Fairfield Bay points to access. Did anyone else get this notice?

I got a refund from Wyndham

Was it a single transaction or several transactions that added up to $500?
For me, it was eleven transactions of a little over $200 each. That was for Orlando International with no swap to CWA.

I also owned at Fairfield Bay (154k points), but did not accept the CWA.
Today, I received notice of credits to my credit card in the amounts of 4x$250, 1x$145.20, 1x1x$145.21. No explanation from Wyndham. What is interesting is that my online account now shows a past due amount of almost exactly the same amount as the total of the credits.
This appears to me to be a refund of maintenance payments from 2025.
I imagine we will see a lot more posts regarding this.
