We made an exchange into Hyatt Windward Pointe through Interval using one of our Marriott weeks. There is a resort fee of $40 per day. I'm just wondering what this covers and is it for all stays at this resort?

We stayed on Marriott exchange there last January and there was no resort fee per day. Is it new? We loved our stay so much.

Where are you seeing the fee listed? Is it on the II website or on Hyatt.com? In many cases these fees will apply only to hotel/cash based reservations and not timeshare stays.

Now that I think about it, I'm not sure where I saw that. Perhaps when I did the exchange. I'm not sure we will actually use it or retrade so if we go I will call and ask.

Glad to hear your experience about your stay. Maybe as Dioxide pointed out the resort fee is cash-based reservations. I will call prior to staying there.
