Has anyone been to Wild Oak Ranch recently? Just wondering what all is still closed. Last time we went the Icehouse was closed, the indoor pool closed, gym closed, and the restaurant had very limited hours. We felt like more than half the amenities were gone and things were crowded at those that were open - and this was post Covid shut downs. We may go in a cooler time of the year but wonder if anything will be open - lazy river can get cool in late fall/winter. Can you use pools at the Hyatt Resort close by?

We are currently at Wild Oak Ranch, leaving tomorrow unfortunately. Our stay has been wonderful. Resort grounds are immaculate, pools and lazy river are all open and are at good temperatures. The marketplace is still closed and is going to be repurposed according to someone at the front desk. JB’s restaurant is open about half time, for breakfast and lunch every day, but dinner only Thursday through Sunday. Workout facility and grills are fully open, and a full schedule of daily activities, mainly for youngsters.

The Hyatt Regency resort is undergoing renovations, and half the rooms are closed. Somewhat of a ghost town. All pools there are ice cold and full of tree leaves at a very annoying, excessive level. Over half the parking lot is also closed. They have started charging for parking, and only let Residence Club members in if they have adequate space. You can have parking validated if you spend money at the restaurants or spa. If you call the front desk at Wild Oaks, they are able to arrange for valet parking for a small number of vehicles if space is available. (Fee is being paid by Wild Oaks I was told.)
