Hi, new here. I own a Hyatt timeshare, but would like a couple more weeks. Other than redweek, is there another place where i can go to purchase at a good/reasonable price? Example, foreclosures, direct from seller, etc
Bill Gabrielli is usually suggested for Hyatt resales. He sold me one of mine.if you google his name and hyatt it should come up. I also look on my resort network in addition to redweek.
We owned 3 Hyatt's in Key West Fl. We decided to sell them 8 yrs. ago when the Hyatt sent all of us a letter stating if one of our TS's was damaged in a Hurricane we would be assessed $10,000 per wk. Due and payable with our Main. fees January 1st. That's when we sold 2 of them right here on TUG. We didn't lose a lot of money even though we bought all of them through the the Developer. This was a time before we joined TUG.
Last year we bought a TS in the Outer Banks, NC from an owner here on TUG.

Yes they will do a special assessment and everyone has to pay. It has happened to me with my St John unit (Westin) and I believe Hacienda del Mar is going through one right now
