I believe that these Contracts were formerly known as DRI (Diamond Resorts International). Which has been bought by Hilton Timeshares and is now called HVC ( Hilton Vacation Club) not Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV). Resell DRI Accounts now HVC can only be used to Book directly into their Home Collection (US Collection) not all Worldwide former DRI Resorts. You could always join RCI and maybe trade Worldwide.

I was formerly DRI but my contracts show HGV and I have mostly used it for resorts outside the US. I do not currently have any RCI or Interval membership but can access exchange properties through Hilton and have used Interval in the past.

I was former DRI, the ability to use points outside the home collection does not transfer on resale.

updated this as these are hilton vacation club ownerships, not HGVC ownerships.

If you haven't already, be sure to list these in the TUG Marketplace. Someone reported the other day successfully transferring HVC US Collection through a listing in the marketplace.

Also, dirty points do not add to one's loyalty level. So if someone who is 2,000 points shy of Gold was thinking that a contract here would boost them to Gold, it will not.

I do not know if Hilton has continued the Process for Washing Dirty (Resell) Points or not. Under DRI if you had Dirty (Resell) Points and you bought a certain number of Developer Points you could have your Resell Points transform so they were treated like Developer Points. It was not automatic you had to ask for it to be in the Contract. We did it once. Our first DRI Points were Hawaiian Collection purchased from DRI. Then we bought several Hawaiian Resell Accounts. They were free and we did not even pay the transfer fees. Then we washed them with a minimum Hawaiian Collection purchase. But they were still separate Contract Numbers. So then we bought a couple hundred Cabo Azul Points and transfered all of our Hawaiian Collection Points to Cabo Azul and under only 1 Contract #. This also substantially dropped our Maintenance Fees.

I just bought one during their presentation. Thanks for the information. I'm going to cancel ASAP.
Yes, cancel ASAP. Post Office won't be open till Tuesday. That gives you some time to read the contract and write up your letter.
