From this perspective, it looks like she faired a lot better than the neighbors.... 5mins 40 seconds and 8 mins 40 seconds in.
But does anyone know how the underside of the pool deck made out?

Wow! Thanks for sharing that very informative video. IMHO, that video showed the true story why that resort was spared the damages; unlike their neighbors.

Dolphin Beach Club spent a chunk of change to have its seawall reinforced last year. They were having problems with the pool deck, and when the got to the bottom of the issues they needed to do the seawall work. Probably turned out to be a much better investment than they expected.....

In the long run that was a worthwhile investment by the resort to have its seawall reinforced in 2021. That investment saved the resort and its owners from the various hurricanes this year..

We're here now. WOW! Everything inside is brand new. Looks so great. Pool deck and amenities will be coming later. Staff said they spent the past 6 mins at Seabreeze and just recently returned here. We're like the first ones in.
Working here remotely for the next few days. Out Fri 6/2/23
If anyone has anything specific they want pics of please post it in this thread so everyone can see. I'll post some randoms too.

There's some sort of tape on freezer.
Not sure if it's a good thing for long term??

Because my Wacky pals Lucy and Peg might be interested. 201 outside door. Fresh paint, signage, & window.

Oh... My gosh.... I am a laundry lunatic....
But this is WAY TOO MUCH....
They have laundry machines here free to use, but they're really tough on clothes and take.... Forever....
Otherwise everything here is in really good shape!

Nice pictures and information.

So, how bad were the special assessments to repair the sea wall and get the units back into "like new" condition?

.

My daughter attends college in Daytona Beach and I often have difficultly getting hotels during race weekends. Is this property an option for me as a non-owner?
