Where are the whales? Shouldn't they be around the Island by now?
Have any been spotted and if so where?

Mahalo,

Sterling

There around Maui now. Report from Trip Advisor today..
"Watching whales from the Mana Kai in South Kihei right now. Awesome!!!"

FYI..Friends just returned last week from the Schooner. They said the reno on B107 was complete and looked great.

We've only made a few sightings off the Lawai Beach during our last three weeks here. A resident said that they were late last year and it might be the same this year for Kauai waters.

I hope they are still around when we're on Maui in March. :D

I went on a whale watch from Lahaina this morning, first guaranteed tour of the season for some of the charters. We had many whale sightings (tails, bodies, water sprouts etc.) but no real performances like I have seen before, but they are definitely here and in numbers!
