Could you perhaps just clarify your intent?

Do you plan on buying your own timeshares and then using it to rent out to your clients? In that case you will be stuck with the timeshare forever.

Do you plan on renting from an owner and then to your clients as a third party? In that case most Tuggers will send a rental contract and I have not read of anybody making the renter commit to 20-30 years of renting.

As for security and peace of mind. We are a tight knit community who will most likely call each other out for unsavory practices which will in all likeness not be stood for by the owner @TUGBrian .

Serious question, who do you think you are talking to by making a post in this discussion forum? None of us are employed by, or in any way affiliated with TUG, other than we are members. If you want to speak with someone who is, you should be contacting one of the administrators/owners, as I suggested in my post.
Well, without hurting your sentiments Fido Chuckwagon, I'd like to learn from the few that are posing great replies. You, and I may not agree on many things, although I like to learn for myself, and be the judge about what I am already discovering.

Thank you Venter. You explained what others found to be the unachievable. For a moment there I thought the "V" stood for victory. You are a very smart member. If it does not overwhelm you. please stay in touch. Have a nice day.

Look. People came here to do business. We are not the type that sit around at the beach in a lawn chair all day.
And now you have an issue with my photo? This is one of the strangest threads ever.

You know Janann, I let it go the on first the remark that you gave me, because I didn't want anyone reporting me over something so petty. I was right in the middle of contacting the administration to explain the bad attitute that some of their clients pose. It was like I went there to learn how things were run in the timeshare business while I was gone, and you were already there to give me the WWE, WWF smack down treatment on arrival, or something! It was too early, and I wasn't playing around. So in parting, have a nice day.

(This response was generated by ChatGPT given your question which reads like it was generated by an AI LLM).
Was this response really generated by ChatGPT? You didn't modify it at all? That's a scary good response.

I find myself wondering if the recent full moon might perhaps have something to do with this very strange thread. :ponder:

Wow, it seems like TUG is full of individuals with sheer asinine remarks. All fooling aside. One of these days I will find a friend on TUG. Although I walk through the valley of the shadow of doubt I will fear no evil. To be on point, all a responsible member had to do, was direct me to the members who "were" renting out their timeshares, and vacation units. That's all. Maybe its not here. Maybe its at ABC Timeshare company, or something (please direct me there). Whatever, or where ever the members are who are renting their timeshares I will find them, and speak with them directly. Wow, I get a lot of replies from someone who you think you want to ignore. I intend to do business.

Yep - direct copy and paste from the app. No edits.

For those interested- the prompt I used was “How will my clients know that they can trust a timeshare vendor fromTUG?” I didn’t even add a space to correct the original OP question.

I use ChatGPT 4 (paid version). 3.5 is the free version - but there is a vast improvement between the two.

Wow, that is really impressive. Maybe you should start posting ChatGPT answers to various timeshare questions. I’d be curious about the results.

Even thogh I'm a bit annoyed with that. Its actually a compliment that you think my post was generated by a chatbox, or whatever the thing is your ranting about. Keep your eyes open.

I think you're right. People here generally frown on people subletting their rentals for a lot of good reasons. No one would steer you toward anyone. To the contrary I would steer them away with your refusal to answer direct questions, and nonsensical posts.

Some people here act this way all the time. I am not necessarily just referring to the new person to TUG.

At the top of the forum, in the blue bar, there is a link entitled: Marketplace - those are the TUG classified Ads. Just click on the link - no one has to introduce you.

The discussion forums (including this forum where you are posting) are not for conducting business, they are for timeshare owners to share and discuss Info. In fact, our rules prohibit doing business in the discussion forums. That is why we are only discussing this topic with you. When you joined TUG, you agreed to the posting rules, including that one.

Here are the rules, in case you overlooked them the first time: https://tugbbs.com/forums/help/terms/

A poorly written chatbot could certainly come up with jumbled questions. It looks like an experimental AI program.

I suppose it could be trained to do so, but if AI responded the way OP has, I'd pull the plug.

I still think you’re not understanding what this subforum is? Most of us responding to you are not “in the timeshare business.” We are timeshare users. Some people may rent excess points, but that’s probably the minority of posters you are arguing with overall. Hence, when you (I guess threatened?) not to do business with me, it really didn’t make any sense, since I don’t rent timeshares out, I use the ones I own to go on vacation…

Also, it **sounds** like you are trying to rent other people’s timeshares to feed (I guess) your travel agency business? If that’s the case the margins are going to be incredibly thin with a high risk of ruin.

The forum this is in is literally called "Buying, Selling & Renting Timeshares". I think the question fits.

To all those who have responded today. Thank you. I did not know that this was a sub-group. Let me be human enough, and transparent when I say that if I hurt anyones intellect, feelings, or sentiment on these topcs, that I am sorry to let you down. I will never curse you, swear at you, or use any derogatory words toward anyone in this timesahre group. You will not find that in me. Hence I do believe in free speech, I will try to locate the forum, or "group" that I should be directing my questions. Have a wonderful evening to all of you.
