How to search county records online?

Its all online in North Carolina, as well. I guess that California is just being, well, California.

Does this business stilll exist? I’m looking for a timeshare ownership deed in Florida. Where would I look?

We no longer own any Florida timeshares, so I am not up to date on how to look up Florida timeshare deeds via internet.

Which county?

A good place to start is Google... e.g. "xxxx county deeds"

Make sure your get the county website though (.gov usually)...not some generic service that wants to charge a fee to do what you may be able to do yourself

I’m looking for a deed for Lahaina Inn Resort, Ft. Meyers. FL. Which is in Lee County. Any ideas? Thanks.

The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Skip the middlemen. Go to http://www.leeclerk.org.
Site is easy to use. Drill down starting with "official records" button in the far left column and you're off to the races.

You will need to know the precisely correct spelling of either grantor or grantee name(s) in order to find your specific deed of interest. "Close" or "phonetic" spelling will not successfully retrieve what you are seeking to find.
