There are so many companies that offer timeshares. Is there an easy way to find a list of all of the resorts, regardless of the network they are in, that have an entire year of "high season" or "red weeks". Basically I want a quick way to find resorts that are busy year-round.

Thanking you in advance for any help you can provide.

Sincerely,

Sue

There are no resorts that actually have the same demand the whole year round, because of things like the school schedule, weather, and seasonal activities like skiing.

For instance, the Westin Ka'anapali on Maui labels all weeks as "red weeks," but in reality the demand fluctuates widely.

What is your goal in buying a resort that is all red weeks?

High-Demand Weeks Are Not All Created Equal.

I want a quick way to find resorts that are busy year-round.
In the RCI Weeks timeshare exchange system, all the timeshares in & around Orlando FL are Red Season.

Yet in RCI Points, those same timeshares have high & medium & low demand seasons -- all red, but some redder than others.

Timeshare resorts in year-round tourist havens (e.g., Orlando, Las Vegas, New York City) tend to have strong year-round demand, but not necessarily uniformly high demand every week of the year.

We were surprised to learn that early January is off season for much of Florida -- exactly the time of year we would have guessed people would flock there to escape the cold up north.

Fortunately for us, we like Florida vacationing in early January -- were doing that, in fact, before we got into timeshares. It was just our good fortune that reduced demand at that time of year meant we could often snag bargain Last Call & Instant Exchange reservations into other people's Florida timeshares exactly when we wanted to go.

Is this a great country or what ?

All the Grand Pacific Resorts on the coast in southern California are all "red weeks," but as mentioned above, there are some times of the year that they are much quieter than others. I would guess that all the DVC locations are busy all year long.

DVC points charts vary greatly by various times of the year, too.

RED weeks with greater "pull",and highest TPUs or VERY RED demand factors couple include "July 4 on the Beach", Xmas-NYE dates at a favorite SKI slope, warm beachfront locales, downtown NYC for Dec til Jan 1st, etc.

Sue .. are you looking for active resorts or BEST trading opportunities?

If trading, look at points systems who OWN resorts in areas you would travel to or within driving range of where YOU live.

I owned Wyndham resorts (points and fixed weeks) ... which are where I live (drive to) and where I want to vacation (Southern coast of FL in winter). Then MORE of my relatives move to the Southwest USA .. so I brought some resale (free) Shell Vacation Club points. Bases covered.
