How to exchange resorts.

I have some trading available and want to know how to get the best available 2 bedroom suite in Las Vegas, preferably in the top 12 or so in the TUG listings for NV. I need one particular week - 28 in 2009. I have RCI Points, and one week in weeks account, and another week coming up for my houseboat. Anyone have any ideas on exchanging? Are there other avenues besides RCI for Vegas properties?

I am sure there are plenty of options for trading into Las Vegas however, I have never found it difficult to get a trade using RCI Points. Especially since WK 28 is in the heat of summer. In fact, in the past the Grandview has been rather easy to book into. I am not sure if you consider it one of the top 12 TS but I certainly would. I think there's a resort called Peace Canyon (a little further out of town) but I hear it is VERY NICE, too. Good luck and welcome to the site. :wave:
 
I agree with Night Nurse

Steve - since you are only going via RCI - both Grandview and the Hilton timeshares are rated very high on the TUG list and both are very nice resorts.
Look at the RCI ratings and reviews as they give you a pretty good idea of what other timeshare users thought of them. Getting Las Vegas is a fairly easy trade - especially for the week you are asking to get. You shouldn't have any trouble as long as you give RCI several choices for the week you want.

I noticed you are a guest and I would suggest you JOIN TUG as you get a lot of benefit from the ratings and the reviews. Then you can advertise for rent-for exchange and see all of the Timeshare ratings and reviews. Welcome to this site. - Ginny:)
