Hi,

If anyone here can direct me how to change couple things on Outlook
Express I would be grateful.

1- I did it following a post here several years ago, but now don't recall how to disable the preview pane in Outlook Express anymore with the new computer. Anyone ?

2- My dtr also somehow managed to get Outlook Express on our new computer configured so it lists an email address of her's and her name when you send an email out, it looks like she was the sender. I have looked around on how to change it but have not found it yet. Suggestions?

from the dropdown menus:

1: View ->Layout. Clear the check box for preview pane.

2: Tools ->Accounts. Click on the "Mail" tab, click on the account you want to have as default, then click the "Set as Default" button.

1) I agree with Steve on the first one.

2) I'm guessing that she has added info to the bottom of each message. If so, Click on Tools; then Options; then Signatures. Then change the existing signature. Or create a new one by clicking on "New" and specify which one should be the default signature.

Duhhhh .. of course. I misread the OPs question.

Thank you ! Thank you both ! :D
